UMPHERSTON SINKHOLE
/BALUMBUL
Located on the Limestone Coast, near Mount Gambier, the Umpherston Sinkhole/Balumbul is a beautiful sunked garden where you can visit for free and enjoy time exploring in the green oasis.
Once a cave, the sinkhole was created when the top of the chamber of the cave collapsed down. Now the topsoil down on the floor forms the perfect environment for the sunken garden.
KILSBY SINKHOLE
The Kilsby sinkhole is located on the Limestone Coast, just a 15 minute drive from Mount Gambier.
Located beneath a rural farming property the Sinkhole is a world-renowned dive site due to its crystal clear water and breathtaking visibility.
COONAWARRA WINE DISTRICT
One of Australia’s most celebrated wine regions, Coonawarra is famous for its vivid red soil - Terra Rossa - and the wines made from it.
The region boasts all sorts of varieties from red, whites and bubbles.
The district has over 25 Cellar Doors, scattered along one stretch of road, making it easy to navigate and visit.
NARACOORTE CAVES
Naracoorte Caves National Park is South Australia's only World Heritage site.
It is one of the world’s best fossil sites, where marsupial lions, enormous kangaroos and giant monitor lizards met their deaths and were preserved by layers of ancient sand. Visit the Caves to discover the unique Australian history of the region’s fauna and flora.
